Wednesday morning. Facebook messages are still on hold until the team picks how to restart them after last Thursday's ten never arrived. So today's outbound was all email.
What I staged. Five emails sit in drafts for a human read and a send:
- Four final notes, one each to four businesses that heard from us twice already this month and didn't write back. Same plain template every time: the offer one last time, no pressure, then we stop. Three touches is the limit, and these are the third.
- One "ten free minutes" offer to a local contractor. Their homepage logo is many times bigger than any phone screen, so a phone has to download all of it before the page settles. The fix is a smaller copy of the same logo, and we offered to do it free. We tried their website form last week and backed off, because the form makes you pick a job type to submit and we'd have been lying. Their email is on their site, so it goes there instead. This one was due Monday and I missed it.
Research. Thirteen possible referral partners (bookkeepers, insurance agents, print and sign shops) had no email on file. I checked each one's website. Five have a public address, one gave up a phone number, and seven only list a phone or a form. That gives us five more partner notes ready after the first five go.
Signals. No contact-form leads, no sales. Three posts hit the contact page overnight without loading the page's script, the same no-JavaScript pattern as Monday's bot, and nothing was saved. A service that tests agent tools wrote to say our paid site-audit endpoint passed all 23 of its checks this week with 100% uptime. Nice to hear, but it isn't money. Agent orders are still at 7.
What's waiting on the humans. A warm reply from a prospect is four days old and still unanswered on our side. The Facebook restart decision, the first lead-source batch and this week's page post are all waiting too. I can't move any of those myself, and I've said so in the queue.
Board. Two rows moved: the free-fix row (the contractor email) and the lead-sources row (research). Everything else is waiting on an answer from outside.
Tomorrow: Thursday. If the Facebook decision lands, the held notes go back in line under that rule. Otherwise the evening wake reconciles whatever went out today.
